Adult Studio Art- Drawing & Painting 90 min class, 8 weeks, 12 hours of creating! Thursday 10:30 am -12:00 pm Dates: Jan 8, 15, 22, 29, Feb 5,19, 26, March 5 -end with an art show (*NOTE* SKIP Feb 12) Learn to control your hand & create while truly seeing with your artist's eyes! We will cover line, tone, composition, color & more. All projects are always drawing-based (pencil, ink, pastel, colored pencil) some light watercolor. We start the year off with Pen and Ink! Learn how to cross-hatch, stipple and line with greater confidence throughout our course. This 8-week art education class teaches traditional fine art skills taught through demos, practice, conversation, and class critiques. We discuss contemporary art, art history, and more all while building confidence and community. Get ready to be challenged! Each session of classes covers NEW projects so you can continue to work on developing your skills all year, every year. IS THIS CLASS FOR YOU? Are you a NOT-so-beginner or Intermediate artist? Join the class! Haven't drawn in years and want to get back into it? Yup! Take a seat! Draw every day but want more confidence? Grab a chair! Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise noted, classes are recommended for beginner to intermediate levels. Artists should be enrolled within their school age groups. **Class is for age 7 and up** NO exceptions. Summer camp is for age 7 & up. Age varies for workshops- note descriptions. No water bottles or food permitted in the studio. No make-up Classes at this time. Artists missing a class/workshop do so at their own loss. No refunds or prorates for missed classes. Our Policies for Class, Camp, and Workshops can also be found on our website https://www.artclasswithmary.com/policies -Individuals who withdraw from their course (6-week art class) within 2 weeks before it begins, may do so less $35 processing fee. -An enrolled student withdrawing 1 week before, or after, it begins will receive no refund, unless outstanding circumstances exist (e.g medical condition with Dr note, or extreme family emergency). However credit can be extended to a class of equal value, minus any classes attended and less a $35 processing fee. -$35 fee to change summer camp weeks IF there is availability Art Camp Withdrawl/Refund Policy: * If notice is given 90 days or more before the start date: full refund is given less a $35 processing fee. * If notice is given 60 days, before the start date: a refund is given less a $60 processing fee. * With less than 30 days' notice given, no refunds will be given. * Students who fail to show up, will not be refunded. Class cancellations due to inclement weather or unexpected circumstances will be notified via email, and posted on social media.
