Service Description
60 min, Mondays 4:30-5:30 4th - 8th gr Mixed media and clay 5 weeks. Dates: April 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11 Art Show at the end of the last class! This MONDAY class is for artists who like to be hands-on, get messy, and think 3-dimensionally. We will build, sculpt, and paint sculptures in papier mâché and hand-build with clay through problem-solving and creative thinking. We will also do light drawing/sketching for concepts & colors before painting. Please note* that while some projects are guided, the class can be fast-paced and has LOTS of independent thinking. Doors open 4:25 Class 4:30-5:30 Pick up 5:30 Supplies: **Artists need to bring Paint pens like these: Amazon: YUNISS 18 Colors Acrylic Paint Pens, approx $13 All other supplies included This popular class is capped and often has a waiting list. Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise noted, classes are recommended for beginner to intermediate levels. Artists should be enrolled within their school age groups. **Class is for age 7 and up** NO exceptions. Summer camp is for age 7 & up. Age varies for workshops- note descriptions. No water bottles or food permitted in the studio. No make-up Classes at this time. Artists missing a class/workshop do so at their own loss. No refunds or prorates for missed classes. Our Policies for Class, Camp, and Workshops can also be found on our website https://www.artclasswithmary.com/policies -Individuals who withdraw from their course (6-week art class) within 2 weeks before it begins, may do so less $35 processing fee. -An enrolled student withdrawing 1 week before, or after, it begins will receive no refund, unless outstanding circumstances exist (e.g medical condition with Dr note, or extreme family emergency). However credit can be extended to a class of equal value, minus any classes attended and less a $35 processing fee. -$35 fee to change summer camp weeks IF there is availability Art Camp Withdrawl/Refund Policy: * If notice is given 90 days or more before the start date: full refund is given less a $35 processing fee. * If notice is given 60 days, before the start date: a refund is given less a $60 processing fee. * With less than 30 days' notice given, no refunds will be given. * Students who fail to show up, will not be refunded. Class cancellations due to inclement weather or unexpected circumstances will be notified via email, and posted on social media.
