Paint Your Pet- Portrait mini course is back! Age 16 through Adult Three Wednesdays, 90 min sessions each, to complete your portrait 7:00 -8:30 Dates: Sept 4, 11, 18 Must attend all 3 days The Pet portrait painting is an art form that has transcended time. Just look at the halls of any museum! This educational mini-course is an introduction (or review) to blocking, underpainting, and texture. Three very important elements when it comes to portraiture. We will also be covering a bit of color theory as we mix the tones needed for your pet. This class welcomes artists at any stage of their artistic journey as we will be guiding you every step of the way. Each class period is 90 min long, and we meet 3 times. It is important to attend all sessions to complete your portrait. Guest teacher Robert Meriwether will be guiding the class step by step through our underpaintings, layers, blocking, color mixing and textures. We can't wait to see your pets come to life as you learn more about colors and shading! All materials are included, so, What do we need from you? VERY IMPORTANT: 1-2 clear photographs of your pet! Please send these ASAP, Deadline is 1 week before class begins. What makes a good photo? 1. lighting 2. mostly the head and neck 3. pretend your pet took a selfie- that's what we want! 4. email your 1-2 pet images 1 week before class starts so we can get your canvas prepped and ready to begin! Cancellation Policy

Unless otherwise noted, classes are recommended for beginner to intermediate levels. Artists should be enrolled within their school age groups. **Class is for age 7 and up** NO exceptions. Summer camp is for age 6 & up. Age varies for workshops- note descriptions. No water bottles or food permitted in the studio at this time. No make-up Classes at this time. Artists missing a class/workshop do so at their own loss. No refunds or prorates for missed classes. Our Policies for Class, Camp and Workshops can also be found on our website https://www.artclasswithmary.com/policies -Individuals who withdraw from their course (6-week art class) within 2 weeks before it begins, may do so less $35 processing fee. -An enrolled student withdrawing 1 week before, or after, it begins will receive no refund, unless outstanding circumstances exist (e.g medical condition with Dr note, or extreme family emergency). However credit can be extended to a class of equal value, minus any classes attended and less a $35 processing fee. -$35 fee to change summer camp weeks IF there is availability Art Camp Withdrawl/Refund Policy: * If notice is given 90 days or more before the start date: full refund is given less a $35 processing fee.
 * If notice is given 60 days,  before the start date: a refund is given less a $60 processing fee.
 * With less than 30 days' notice given, no refunds will be given. 
 * Students who fail to show up, will not be refunded.
 Class cancellations due to inclement weather or unexpected circumstances will be notified via email, and posted on social media.
