Adult Studio Art- Drawing with focus in Pen & Ink 2 hour class, Thursday Morning 10:00* am -12:00 pm *Note the new start time 3 weeks. 6 hours of class time June 8, 15, 22 Learn to control your hand & create while truly seeing with your artist's eyes! We will cover line, tone, composition, color & more all with a dose of fun. All projects are drawing-based, we then add color with colored pencils, light watercolor This is a concentrated session, or deeper dive, into Pen and Ink. Using gradations through cross hatching and stippling, as well as a looser gestural style of drawing through the pen. OR, for those who have pen and ink experience and would love the chance to be with like- minded creatives and work with this amazing medium. As an artist, this is my specialty. Pen & ink is how I started my career as a fine art illustrator and artist 3 decades ago! This is an art education class with traditional fine art skills, taught through demos, practice, conversation, and critiques. We discuss contemporary art and art history, job skills, and more all while building confidence and community. Get ready to be challenged! This session is geared around a specific project of your choosing. You will bring reference photos, or the object with you every session to work from. We will start with critiques as a class. I will demonstrate and offer one-on-one discussions. We close with an exhibit as always as we will certainly be proud of our efforts! Theme of the course is flowers and insects! Cancelation Policy

Our Policies for Class, Camp and Workshops can also be found on our website https://www.artclasswithmary.com/policies Unless otherwise noted, classes are recommended for beginner to intermediate levels. Artists should be enrolled within their school age groups. **Class & Camp is for age 6 and up** NO exceptions. No water bottles or food permitted in the studio at this time. No make-up Classes at this time. Artists missing a class/workshop do so at their own loss. No refunds or prorates for missed classes. -Individuals who withdraw from their course (6-week art class) within 2 weeks before it begins, may do so less $35 processing fee. -An enrolled student withdrawing 1 week before, or after, it begins will receive no refund, unless outstanding circumstances exist (e.g medical condition with Dr note, or extreme family emergency). However credit can be extended to a class of equal value, minus any classes attended and less a $35 processing fee. -$35 fee to change summer camp weeks IF there is availability Art Camp Withdrawl/Refund Policy: * If notice is given 90 days or more before the start date: full refund is given less a $35 processing fee.
 * If notice is given 60 days,  before the start date: a refund is given less a $60 processing fee.
 * With less than 30 days' notice given, no refunds will be given. 
 * Students who fail to show up, will not be refunded.
 Class cancellations due to inclement weather or unexpected circumstances will be notified via email, and posted on social media. ccd C
