Adult Studio Art- Drawing with a focus on Pen & Ink and Fall themes 90 min class, 5 weeks Thursday Morning 10:30 am -12:00 pm Dates Sept 14, 21, 28, Oct 5, 12 and we end with an art show! *Note: There is also an option to register for 10 classes and save $45 -see other listening (next 5 classes broaden to include other drawing mediums) Learn to control your hand & create while truly seeing with your artist's eyes! We will cover line, tone, composition, color & more. All projects are drawing-based, we then add color with colored pencils, light watercolor The Fall session will take a deep dive into drawing and using Pen and Ink. We will discover how to create gradations using cross-hatching and stippling, as well as a looser gestural style of drawing using the pen. This art education class with traditional fine art skills is taught through demos, practice, conversation, and critiques. We discuss contemporary art and art history and more all while building confidence and community. Get ready to be challenged! Each session of classes covers NEW projects so you can continue to work on your developing your skills all year, every year. IS THIS CLASS FOR YOU? Are you a not-so-beginner or Intermediate artist? Cancellation Policy

Our Policies for Class, Camp and Workshops can also be found on our website https://www.artclasswithmary.com/policies Unless otherwise noted, classes are recommended for beginner to intermediate levels. Artists should be enrolled within their school age groups. **Class & Camp is for age 6 and up** NO exceptions. No water bottles or food permitted in the studio at this time. No make-up Classes at this time. Artists missing a class/workshop do so at their own loss. No refunds or prorates for missed classes. -Individuals who withdraw from their course (6-week art class) within 2 weeks before it begins, may do so less $35 processing fee. -An enrolled student withdrawing 1 week before, or after, it begins will receive no refund, unless outstanding circumstances exist (e.g medical condition with Dr note, or extreme family emergency). However credit can be extended to a class of equal value, minus any classes attended and less a $35 processing fee. -$35 fee to change summer camp weeks IF there is availability Art Camp Withdrawl/Refund Policy: * If notice is given 90 days or more before the start date: full refund is given less a $35 processing fee.
 * If notice is given 60 days,  before the start date: a refund is given less a $60 processing fee.
 * With less than 30 days' notice given, no refunds will be given. 
 * Students who fail to show up, will not be refunded.
 Class cancellations due to inclement weather or unexpected circumstances will be notified via email, and posted on social media. ccd C
